How the Freezer Works

The major principle behind the working of freezer is the collecting the heat and the evaporation process. In order to begin the evaporation process, the refrigerant enters the compressor in the gas form. The gas becomes very hot at the time of compression process. The coils in the freezer turn the hot gas into cool and in turn into liquid state. The refrigerant is forced through the expansion valve to turn the gas to cold mist.

The mist enters the coils and then the freezer compartment, the mist is turned in to gaseous state. At the point of time, the temperature of the mist will be up to -27 degrees. At every cycle, the same procedure will take place and the food in the refrigerant will be preserved.

Effectiveness of Freezers in Preserving the Food

The food preserved in the freezer is more suitable than Fresh Food. The nutrients in the food will be preserved with the no bacteria. The bacteria in the fresh food cannot flourish, while you preserve the food in freezer. If you take the food out, the bacteria associated with the food will start flourishing and it will be decayed.

It is preferred to keep more food rather than keeping less food inside the freezer. This because, the more food accommodated in the freezer will preserve the cool air for long time and when you open the freezer door, the cool air in the freezer doesn’t come out and preserve the food for long time.
